Team Emotional & Social Intelligence
Understand What Is Helping or Hindering Your Team’s Performance
Strong teams depend on more than individual talent. They depend on how well people communicate, handle pressure, work through conflict, stay connected to a shared purpose and move forward together.

The Team Emotional & Social Intelligence (TESI®) assessment provides a collective view of how team members experience the way the team works. It measures seven dimensions of team effectiveness: Team Identity, Motivation, Emotional Awareness, Communication, Stress Tolerance, Conflict Resolution and Positive Mood.
The assessment can also reveal meaningful differences in how various groups within the team experience the organization, including leaders, managers, departments, generations and employees with different levels of tenure.
From Assessment to Action
The report is only the beginning. Dr. Hayles works with leaders and teams to interpret what the findings mean in the context of their organization, identify patterns that may be affecting performance and determine where focused development can strengthen alignment, relationships and productivity.
Depending on the size and needs of the organization, an engagement may include:
- TESI® assessment for participating team members
- Team Emotional & Social Intelligence Report
- Analysis across seven dimensions of team effectiveness
- Leadership review of key findings
- Facilitated team-development session or sessions with Dr. Hayles
- Identification of strengths, gaps and areas of misalignment
- Practical development priorities and recommendations
- Follow-up facilitation or reassessment when appropriate
Designed Around Your Team
Every organization is different. The scope of a TESI® engagement is customized based on team size, organizational structure, the challenges being addressed and the level of facilitation required.
